          Description

          Gifford Medical Center in beautiful Randolph, Vermont, is seeking an Clinical Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Support Specialist to work in our Information Systems Department. This is a unique opportunity to work in a spectacular setting at a rural, financially stable, non-profit hospital with a progressive philosophy, supportive administrative team and advanced technology.

          The Clinical Support Specialist will be responsible for participating in the implementation, planning and execution of the CPSI MP?EMR project.The CSS will be a liaison with the clinic staffs in the areas of training, adoption, and managing expectations regarding the detailed functionality and integrating EMR functionally with workflow.

          The successful applicant will demonstrate a high level of communication skills and able to communicate with all levels, Project Management experience, comprehend Health Information Technology and Health Information Exchange, experience with training users, Process and workflow design. Must be willing to travel for training and travel regularly to our clinics to assist with implementation and provide support to end users. Current RN licensure by the State of Vermont preferred, minimum requirement LPN Licensure by the State of Vermont. Two years of experience in healthcare software systems, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. EOE
